To be able to use the e-visa, you can use the information below to check if you are eligible for the e-visa.
The e-visa is not required or valid for all nationalities. Some may enter Cuba without an e-visa, while others need to apply for a physical visa at the Cuban consulate.
So check carefully if your nationality is allowed to use the e-visa for Cuba.
The following nationalities do not need an (e-)visa to enter Cuba, and may stay in Cuba for 90 days.
- China (excl. residents of Hong Kong & Macau)
- Russia
- Malaysia
- United Arab Emirates
The following nationalities do not need an (e-)visa to enter Cuba, and may stay in Cuba for 60 days.
- Grenada
- Saint Vincent and the Grenadines
The following nationalities do not need an (e-)visa to enter Cuba, and may stay in Cuba for 30 days.
- Antigua in Barbuda
- Belarus
- Saint Kitts and Nevis
- Saint Lucia
The following nationalities do not need an (e-)visa to enter Cuba, and may stay in Cuba for 28 days.
- Barbados
- Dominica
Unlike the nationalities mentioned above, there are also nationalities that are not allowed to enter Cuba with an e-visa.

'If you have one of these nationalities, but also hold a (temporary or permanent) residence permit from Canada, the EU, or Australia, you may also enter Cuba with the e-visa.'
Residents of Kosovo are not allowed entry into Cuba, even for a transit flight or a layover.
All other nationalities can make use of the e-visa.
